'mix ah, you more to chinese' *burst out laughing* it's just so farnie la. im pure malay. people keep mistaking me for a chinese just because i speak like one and to a certain extent act like one. haha.. my papa is a bugis and my mama a javanese, but they're still malay. after the induction thang at ngee ann i went to bugis to hunt for my ex-supervisor's bday gift before meeting her at tanjong pagar. i was happily walking la then this donation-guy stopped me.this was what he said, " you malay?" i just smiled:)
walked and walked saw berber... cute la she..walked somemore this time to the mrt station was again stopped by a different donation-guy. this was what he said, " hi sister,you malay right?" i smiled:)
there were other incidents.
INCIDENT 1 : a few weeks back, i went out with pisang (watched ice age 2 - the movie was not bad). anyway, i was checking out this really pretty cardigan at baleno, this sales-guy approached me and started yapping in chinese. i gave him the widest grin and he asked, " ouh, so you're a malay? i'm so sorry" hahah, cute la.
INCIDENT 2: was walking around amk this donation-guys stopped me. " adik ni melayu kan?" " ya" " abang ingatkan cine, cine sunburn" burst out laughing what the hell...
i think pisang's worried. she fears that i might end a up being a minah.. *i miss gary* "luk at e moon"
