ambok's friend just lost his dog. he died of heart attack.
a few months back, i would have laughed my butt off upon hearing the news. dogs and heart attacks just didnt go. the narrow-minded me only associated heart attacks with humans- fat obese pampered spoilt humans. things are different now, i had come to realise that animals too suffer, like humans.
i got to know yesterday,the huge chow chow dog at the pet station where i usually buy handsome's and kurbit's snappy tom has arthritis. just like pom pom, he has to be on continuos iv therapy but he's worst off- he cant stand cause it'll hurt him too much.
about a month ago handsome had a huge abscess on his neck. the same fate as my ssdc friend, but my friend's abscess was at the leg. and now, the grandfather cat pom pom has kidney failure. macam orang pulak animals ni semua~
animals and humans, what's so different between us? we lie and betray, animals dont.
i think there should be some kinda MOH for animals. the spca can only do that much. the government should set aside a sum of money speacially for animal health- for the strays and those families within financial issues.
we should treat everyone and every animal equally, kan?
oh ya, fuck those who abandon their pets. and double fuck those who abuse their pets or any animal.
